We met Amanda Stephens of A Lovely Day Photography a couple years ago when she was photographing a wedding while we were filming it. She was such a kind, warm person and we had an awesome day filming alongside her. We are so honored she chose us to film her wedding in October at Union/Pine!
This was probably the coolest idea for a Love Story film that we've ever done. Amanda & Lane booked a special place to their relationship at The Vintages in Dayton, Oregon. It's a vintage trailer park that is super hipster and adorable; they have all kinds of remodeled, updated trailers to choose from that come with beach cruisers! We shot alongside the owner of A Lovely Day and Jessica Hill Photography, Jessica, who recently won Best Independent Photographer from Oregon Bride Magazine!
Our first scene was inside the cute Airstream trailer they rented, with them hanging out in the breakfast nook and on the bed (which is a weird thing about our job). They then hopped on their bikes and rode around the park, just like they did the night they decided to get married.
The trailer park brings around propane tanks with small fireplaces for anyone who wants to enjoy s'mores at night. Some people just use the fire but that's so pointless without s'mores! Amanda and Lane roasted marshmallows and ate their super messy s'mores on camera.
At sunset, we went into a field next to the park and watched a glorious orange sunset while filming the couple dance. If you know us, we always make our couples dance! It's a great way to add energy to any film, plus we just love dancing.
Watch their Love Story above!
